About Shelter Outreach
Our group serves at First Light Shelter in downtown Birmingham every 4th Saturday. We prepare a hot meal, serve and clean up the kitchen for approximately 45 women and children. An email is sent to the group about a week before each outing.
We welcome children over the age of five to serve with their parents. We would love to have you join us!
We also provide an "immediate needs" list that the shelter provides. If you aren't available to help serve but would like to support, you are welcome to reach out to me (Alicia Vincent - 205.821.1154) and I'll be glad to meet you to pick up and deliver any items you choose to donate.
